Spelling Bee online is my latest word game pleasure. My sister Jenny and share our Genius Status. We both don’t give up often so we we pay ourselves on the back often for being Geniuses T least 85% of the time.
Recently, I have connected with a childhood neighbor on Facebook who is an avid Wordle player. We share our scores and compare notes about the word, along with another woman who is a high school classmate. He is married and living with his husband in Provincetown.
My "short stories" are sketches (pen/pencil) that encompass what would otherwise be paragraphs of text. Examples can't be attached here, but I'll send a few to your offline email. E.
What about Boggle. It's often a good warmup for the day.
And now for my Scrabble story.
While still in graduate school studying physics, I had a girlfriend who was an in a graduate school English program. She regularly played Scrabble together with two roommates.
Long story short: We took Scrabble along on a road trip, and I beat her by almost two hundred points.
She thought I must have cheated! Especially since my score was higher than she'd ever seen playing with TWO others. The relationship almost ended there, till I explained I had played Scrabble with my mother for almost a decade! Joel
