. . . the Next Day
Well, it depends on the day. Or, in my case, yesterday!
Always a pleasure to read you dear friend...I love paper, and wood, and wind in the tree, and wet sand oozing up between my toes... ((((o:
hugs,
t
I think we both like the physicality of things!
"Time is already bendable in the newspaper universe." What a nice sentence. Profound, too. Not just newspapers.
I found myself:
- rejecting your citation of studies showing the advantages of reading on paper (confirmation bias, guilty as charged)
- surprised and amazed at learning what I'm missing by restricting myself to the digital edition
- commiserating with your difficulties in getting the paper delivered consistently and on time.
The Pleasure Principal is a pleasure, as always. Keep it up.
Hi Cathy,
I enjoy reading your writings.
I also read the NYT each day, online.
I do it, though, with the added thought that comes from a slight change in their motto; "
All the news that FITS.
You know what I mean.
Joel
Thanks, Dan!
